Paleo, Vegan, Vegetarian: What to do!?
I absolutely believe that people can thrive on a plant based, animal product free diet, you can 100% get all the nutrients your body requires and more as long as you take the time and effort to ensure you are eating the right foods aka no processed vegan junk foods! However, there are also people who thrive on plant based AND animal product diet with the same basic principal of ensuring your eating the right types of foods of course no junky chemical packed products!
So what are you to do??? People can get pretty darn heated on this debate and honestly, its something I don’t actually have a definitive opinion on as of yet. I would say at this stage in my life I eat a plant based vegetarian diet 80% of the time, I will still have a hamburger and fries sometimes (no judgement please ;)) and still have goats cheese and eggs in my diet because that’s just where I’m at, this is my journey and wherever you are in your journey is ok too! (FYI I’m gradually reducing cheese & chocolate my last dairy vices so will be sharing that experience in the future stay tuned!)
At the end of the day whether you are a huge paleo fan or committed vegan the most important thing is that you consume natural whole foods from nature and treat your bodies with love and respect, cliché I know but totally true and once you truly respect and love yourself, no joke your life will change! It’s also so important to get the education for yourself and create your own opinions because there is evidence to support both lifestyles which just makes it even more confusing but only you can find the evidence that works for your specific body! So all I want to do is encourage you to be open, educate yourself and feel free to experiment!
Achieving optimum health is a life long journey, it won’t happen overnight and you won’t find all the answers over night! Its important to remember that we are all different but one thing we all have in common is the need for natural, chemical free foods from nature so when you get overwhelmed from all the information out there just go back to basics 🙂
The Commitments that I offer to my brides are a combination of these values; there is the occasional meat, goats/feta and cottage cheeses and eggs along side a load of vegetables and fruits. I have designed this program thoughtfully using the knowledge I have learnt during my studies, personal research and personal experience. The aim of my programs is to give you tools to be healthy and empowered as you enter this new phase of your life and realise to be “Wedding Ready” you do not need to do an extreme diet and exercise program!

At first you may be more confused haha (sorry) but eventually you will be filled with so much knowledge you’ll be able to figure out the best foods for you!!!
PS Just a quick note, a huge aspect that leads me to be 80% vegetarian is for the sake of our environment and future of our planet! I’m not gonna preach at you here but just a fun fact did you know that one of the largest contributors to methane gases in the world is not pollution from cars and transport etc but actually cows…and their farts haha so crazy!
Anyway let me know what you think and what works for you!?
