Bounty Balls Recipe

Ok so these are the real deal, I might even say these balls of heaven are better than the original and they’re free of chemicals/preservatives/added sugars etc etc YAY!

Warning though, I do use 70% dark chocolate so they are still a treat & a little addictive, so control those portions 😉



  • 2 cups desiccated coconut
  • ¼ cup raw almonds
  • ¼ cup organic natural maple syrup
  • ¼ cup organic coconut cream
  • ½ tsp. vanilla extract/essence
  • 1-2 blocks of good quality, organic, fair trade dark chocolate 60% at least


In a blender combine almonds and desiccated coconut until almonds are completely fine like flour/ the coconut.
Transfer to a bowl and mix in coconut cream, maple syrup and vanilla.
Stir until well combined then roll into balls of your desired size, tablespoonful’s makes 6-8.
Allow balls to set in freezer for about 20-30minutes.
Meanwhile melt chocolate in double boiler or glass bowl resting over saucepan of boiling water.
Take balls out of freezer and coat in chocolate, because balls are frozen the chocolate will set quickly and you can double coat if you like!

Store in the fridge and enjoy for that sweet tooth craving!

PS They won’t last long so you may want to double up the ingredients for a bigger batch 😉
